Paul visited the workshop to discuss the idea of building a shepherd’s hut that would serve as a guest bedroom.
We chatted about the different sizes, window and door configurations and settled on a 16ft Original Hut with a large window along the longest wall.
At one end of the hut, we built a super king-size bed. Part of the original brief was to include a very comfortable bed, so his guests could get a really good night's sleep.
We included 240v electrics for sockets and lighting, as well as thermostatically controlled underfloor heating. This enabled Paul to set the temperature inside the hut for when his guests arrived. It also keeps their toes warm when they jump out of bed on a winter's morning. We built a simple table to make a cup of tea, and hooks on the wall completed the spec.
