Children's Playroom

Sarah asked us to create a playroom for her young family.

We built a sizeable bunk bed so the kids could have sleepovers, we also fitted a TV on a folding wall mount and a desk so the children could study or draw.

Sarah furnished the hut with comfy bean bags and cosy rugs.

The heart and soul of Sussex Huts is Joe. His passion for working with wood stretches as far back as his early childhood, visiting his grandfather and watching him work on his own carpentry projects.

Joe’s work is meticulous, testament to his years of training and working to restore period properties through traditional quality carpentry. Following an opportunity to help some friends, Joe discovered that his real passion is in creating traditional Shepherds Huts.

A mix of old world quirky charm and creative building projects, Joe now creates spaces that people love and call home.
